What makes NowHere, NowHere

What makes NowHere, NowHere

The stuff you came for, one at a time.

Everything here is intentionally designed to slow you down.

  • You make your morning coffee with a pour-over.

  • You fill your cedar tub, build the fire, tend it, and wait for the water to warm.

  • You put away your phone.

  • You sit outside.

The detox box on the table has a pouch for your phone, an old-school flip phone, two journals, and some polaroid film. It’s everything you need to disconnect and detox.

THE UNPLUGGED EXPERIENCE

AND WHEN YOU DO, WE HOPE YOU’LL FIND SPACE…

01

To pick up a book and actually finish a chapter.

02

To make something just because you feel like making it.

03

To sit in a hammock without needing to be productive.

04

To build a fire, play a game, listen to music, or simply be quiet for a while.

OUR HOPE ISN’T SIMPLY THAT YOU COME HERE TO STAY IN A CABIN…

It's that you leave feeling a little more connected to nature, to the people you're with, and maybe even to yourself.

And maybe you remember a few things you love doing along the way.

Every cabin has its own, tucked right out back. You light the fire, feed it a few logs, and give it about an hour and a half. By the time the water’s hot, you’ve slowed down enough to enjoy it. Come summer, skip the fire and use it as a plunge pool.

(* Note: Note: The Hammock Lodge has a warm weather soaking tub instead of a wood-fired hot tub!)

THE WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB

“We sat in the hot tub for 6 hours straight.”

Kamalu built it himself, and like everything out here, it runs on fire and patience. Book a private session, sweat it out in rounds of 15 or 20 minutes, and step out into the quiet between them. Towels and robes are on us.

WOOD-BURNING SAUNA

“I also used the private sauna, the instructions were easy, and it was such a relaxing time.”

— ALY

THE LAND

180 acres of live oaks, mesquite, open pasture, and a lot of sky. A loop trail starts behind Sage cabin, marked with little green arrows, and winds through native Hill Country terrain. Deer outnumber people most days, and the stars show up like they’re getting paid to.

★★★★★

“We even had a few deer visit us one morning… absolutely beautiful there!”

THE CLUBHOUSE

The shared spot, a short walk from every cabin. Two propane grills, real dishes and cooking tools, a covered dining area, and a balcony upstairs made for naps and stargazing. Games, books, and art supplies live in the locker.

★★★★★

“As a home chef, I loved the vibe of the clubhouse kitchen area. It felt like fancy living surrounded by live oaks and evergreens.”

— ANDREW, Waco

THE UNPLUG KIT

Your name’s on the box when you arrive. Inside: a pouch for your phone, an old-school flip phone that reaches us anytime, Polaroid film to document your trip, and two journals. Locking the pouch is optional and completely self-guided. But we highly recommend unplugging.

★★★★★

“I had a life-changing experience walking the trails, reading books, soaking in the tub, and chatting with friends on the provided flip phone!”

— AK
